Imagine Black Friday with violence. Apple was forced to halt sales of its iPhone 4s Friday in Beijing when the crowd got ugly.  Hundreds of shoppers camped out in subfreezing temperatures but were incensed when the store's doors didn't open on time at 7am.  When dawn broke the crowd chanted "Open, Open at the employees inside".  Employees then

told the crowd via megaphone that the first day of the new iphone sales would not happen, prompting one shopper outside the Sanlitun Village Shopping Mall to hurl eggs at the storefront.  Dozens of police showed up and put up police tape.  Apple quickly decided to halt sales in Beijing and Shanghai due to customer safetly.  Apple launched the iPhone 4s sales in Mainland China Friday.  Apple opened Asia's largest Apple store in Shaghai last September and sales have been phenomenal. OMG!
