Ok the title isn't that relevant but radio people love a good "play on words." in today's world of headlines and teasers.    Big news today has Blackberry creator Research in Motion shaking up its corner office with the appointment of Thorsten Heins, a RIM insider as its new Chief Executive Officer to replace co-CEO's Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie. Blackberry has quickly lost traction in

the ultra-competitive smartphone industry.  CNN reports that one of the reasons Blackberry is losing its stronghold on the market is that many office workers are now bringing their own devices into work and using them corporately, so other consumer favorites like the Apple Iphone are grabbing a big share of the market for such devices.  RIM has also experienced big delays in launching its Blackberry 7 operating system and now says its next generation platform Blackberry OS 10 won't be ready til late 2012.  RIM's stock plunged 72 percent last year and dropped in early trading today. It will be interesting to watch RIM's efforts to turnaround the company which will always be knows as the pioneer of the smartphone device.  Best headline today about the corporate move by RIM is from CNN. "Blackberry shakeup isn't a smoothie!."
