It could be out of out of respect for his brave fight with personal demons but no media outlets seemed to pick up on a very key part of Theoren Fleury's NHL retirement news conference in Calgary Monday. The 41 year old Fleury who had his comeback shelved when he was cut by the Calgary Flames last Friday announced that he was not going to pursue a hockey job with another NHL team. Fleury read a prepared statement that SOUNDED like a prepared statement but when he was asked what was next, he said that he was heading out on a BOOK TOUR. Obviously the book has been written. Was the comeback just a stunt? We all need to hire his agent!
