USA Today reports today that for the first time in a decade, ICANN which manages such things will start accepting applications to accept applications to manage new top-level domains. It doesn't come cheap. Interested companies will have to pay a $185, 000, which is more than twice what ICANN charged in 2000, the last time when it last accepted applications for top-level domains.
