Smartphone use during Superbowl staggering

USA Today reports that nearly as many people launched apps on their smartphones during Sunday's Superbowl as viewers watching on television.  During the game nearly one third of US population or 98 million people used an app.  Nielsen estimates nearly 111 million watched the game on television.  Verizon Wireless says customers in Indianapolis were using 2.75 times more data than last year's Super Bowl in Dallas. Remember when having a remote was high tech?
