This is the first Superbowl where apps have been a factor and they will be. The NFL has created its own official app for fans attending the game at Lucas Oil Stadium complete with real-time traffic and parking information, including "NFL Huddle" with all the social media buzz around the game. Superbowl commercials are of course a staple of the big game and there is even an app that provides fans with full access to the popular ads, but we like what USA Today has provided: an ad meter on both its paper's website and app that will monitor the popularity of all the new ads on Sunday in real time.
