Okay, we promise this is the last list of 2011, but yet it is another topical one.  Hootsuite, the popular Twitter Dashboard has compiled a list of the Top 15 businesses on Twitter, among other things.  Hootsuite based its findings on the rank and duration each business spent on the ever popular "Top Ten Trending Topics".  Can you guess number one?

smalltwitterlogoforstory Why yes it was Twitter itself and there is little argument for that ranking.  Google and Facebook rounded out the top three.  4 to 10 went like this, Apple, McDonald's, Nike, MySpace, Nissan, Walmart and HP.  At the risk of too much information we can tell you the following findings.  Top Trending Topic in 2011-Justin Bieber, Top Hashtag Trend-#100 Facts About Me, Top Ten in Memorium Trends-Steve Jobs and Top Ten Holiday Trends-Christmas!
