Imagine Twitter enthusiasts actually meeting and talking face to face! Twitter co-founder Biz Stone opened a two-day conference dedicated to microblogging sites Tuesday in Los Angeles. Stone says Twitter has no immediate plans to place ads on Twitter but the company will go for paid-for commercial accounts with premium features. The Twitter boss kicked off the conference with a 40 minute speech on the origins of the smash social networking site and its goal to make a positive global impact. In under 140 characters of course!
