Fast Fact: Broadcast industry stats aren't readily available but more than two thirds of the new private-sector jobs created as the economy recovers have been claimed by men.  The real news is that it reverses a trend that had the United States trending to its first-ever female-dominated workforce. It's thought that one reason for the shift is that more men are joining the retail work force, which was once mostly populated by women.
