Twitter popularity is generally a very good barometer of things..but it wasn't everything this week for Ron Paul.  CNN reports today that he was Twitterverse's clear choice for this week's New Hampshire primary.  Paul was clearly the most popular GOP

candidate around the primary. CNN reports that the Texas Rep. was the most-discussed candidate on Twitter on the day of the New Hampshire Primary and the days leading up to it, and also received the highest number of positive mentions which indicated it wasn't just because he was being ripped on the social media. Mitt Romney would easily outdistance Paul in the primary with 39% of the vote to Paul's 22%.  Elections can become popularity contests, but not in this case.
